Pick the moulding, the mount, the size and the glass, then choose the picture, either one of our samples or a photo from your phone. See the finished frame, save the image, and send it to the shop on WhatsApp. Abdul Ahad replies with the real price.
The wall of corner samples in the shop is the real catalogue, and it runs longer than this. These are the families we keep, named by finish and by face width in inches, because those two things set the price.

Four steps, in the order they happen.
Walk into the shop with the piece, or photograph it and send it on WhatsApp. A photo with something beside it for scale, a pen or a hand, helps more than a description.
We take the size in inches. Then you pick the moulding from the sample wall, the mount colour and the glass. This is where the price is set, by face width, size and glazing.
The rails are cut to length, mitred at forty-five degrees and joined. The piece is mounted, glazed and sealed at the back against Karachi humidity.
We call you when it is ready. Bring the docket stub. Large pieces and bulk orders are delivered, and acrylic glazing can be couriered out of the city without breaking.
Schools, colleges, offices, banks and government departments order in quantity, and they need paperwork too, not just frames. We quote on letterhead, stamp it, and deliver against a challan.

Marfani Frame Maker is a picture framing shop at 5 Shahab Mansion on Burns Road, Karachi, run by Abdul Ahad. We make and sell every kind of frame: portraits of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal, Ayat-ul-Kursi and other Islamic calligraphy, photographs of Makkah and Madina, degrees, certificates and nikah namas, oil paintings and family photographs. Frames are cut to measurement in inches, mitred and joined in the shop, and fitted with plain, non-glare or acrylic glazing. Any size. The common ones are 8 by 12, 12 by 18, 20 by 30 and 24 by 36 inches, and custom sizes are measured at the counter. Framing in Karachi is priced in inches, by the face width of the moulding, the size of the piece and the glass.
Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm. Sunday closed. In Ramazan the shop opens at 10 am and closes at Asr.

Yes. Documents are mounted flat, glazed and sealed at the back so humidity does not reach them. Non-glare glass is popular for certificates that hang under office lights.
